Chocolate Tips

  • 🍫 Store in a cool, dry place β€” ideally between 15–18Β°C (59–64Β°F).

  • 🚫 Avoid the fridge β€” moisture can cause sugar bloom (a white, grainy coating on the top of the surface).

  • 🌑️ Avoid temperature fluctuations β€” they can lead to fat bloom (a dull, streaky surface).

  • πŸ•―οΈ Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources β€” chocolate melts easily above 24Β°C (75Β°F).

  • πŸ’¨ Store in an airtight container β€” prevents chocolate from absorbing nearby odors (it’s highly porous like onion etc).

  • Shelf life:

    • Dark chocolate – up to 2 years.

    • Milk chocolate – about 1 year. I personally give all my chocolate 6 months but can last ALOT longer if stored correctly.

    • White chocolate – about 6–10 months.

I know you shouldnt store chocolate in the fridge but I LOVE cold chocolate specially buttons so please do what I say and not as I do :)
